Kristiina Poska joins LNSO centenary celebrations
This week, Kristiina Poska joins the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra in celebrating its 100th anniversary. As Principal Guest Conductor, she leads concerts in Riga and Cēsis on 25 and 26 September, joined by violinist Baiba Skride. The programme brings together Ilona Breģe’s UP-TIME, Sofia Gubaidulina’s Dialogue: I and You and Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, Titan — as part of a season marking a century of the LNSO.
New Encounters, Happy Returns
A new season takes Kristiina Poska across Europe and North America, moving between symphonic repertoire, new music and the opera stage. The 2026/27 season brings major debuts and anticipated returns as well as several festival appearances. Alongside these engagements, several projects developed over recent years enter an exciting new chapter.
From Finland to France: Summer 2026
The summer season arrived! Kristiina travels across Finland, Estonia, France and the Baltic States for a season filled with festivals, special celebrations and international collaborations. Highlights include performances at the Naantali Music Festival, the Haapsalu Festival and the Festival de La Roque d’Anthéron, as well as concerts celebrating the 100th anniversary of her hometown, Türi. The summer concludes with a Baltic tour alongside the Orchestre Français des Jeunes.
