DEBUT ROYAL LIVERPOOL PHILHARMONIC

Kristiina will make her debut with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in concerts on Wednesday 22 October 2025 at Middlesbrough Town Hall and Thursday 23 October 2025 at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.

The programme opens with Ida Moberg’s Sunrise – Orchestral Suite, an atmospheric and rarely performed work by the Finnish composer whose music is beginning to receive renewed attention. The evening continues with Jean Sibelius’s Violin Concerto in D minor, featuring Inmo Yang as soloist, and concludes with Johannes Brahms’s Symphony No. 4, a masterpiece of late-Romantic orchestral writing.

These performances mark Kristiina’s first collaboration with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. She is looking forward to working with the musicians and to presenting this thoughtfully balanced programme – combining Nordic colour, lyricism, and symphonic depth – to audiences in both Middlesbrough and Liverpool.
