KRISTIINA RETURNS TO RSNO

Following her previous appearance with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, in a programme including Sibelius’s Symphony No. 1, Kristiina Poska returns this week for concerts in Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The performances take place at Caird Hall (Dundee), Usher Hall (Edinburgh), and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

The programme opens with Arvo Pärt’s Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten, followed by the world premiere of The Lives of Birds by Elena Langer, commissioned by the orchestra and featuring soprano Anna Dennis. The concerts conclude with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4.

Poska looks forward to continuing the collaboration with the orchestra in the upcoming concerts.
